Debbie Houghton

Debbie Houghton began working with Karen as a Legal Assistant in December 2021. Before finding her way into the legal field, Debbie worked in both residential and commercial property management. She has extensive customer service experience and enjoys helping others find solutions to issues they are facing. Debbie especially enjoys working directly with clients, bringing empathy and compassion to those navigating the difficult journey of divorce.

Debbie graduated Magna Cum Laude from Troy University, obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration/Marketing. She has two handsome sons that love soccer, so she spends most of her weekends on the soccer field supporting them. She spends any free time volunteering at her children’s school and their church, and enjoying other activities such as baking, photography, sports, and spending time with family.
